The scope of work for the Albert Street Bridge consisted of, but not limited to; project planning and management, pedestrian controls, erosion sediment controls, pedestrian hoarding, working from scaffold and ariel lift, repair to deck drainpipes, concrete repairs to underside of bridge including removals and reinstatement to soffits, columns and abutment walls by way of patching, forming and pumping. The scope of work for the Beech Street Bridge consisted of, but not limited to; project planning and management, traffic control, pedestrian controls, erosion sediment controls and hoarding, structural concrete repairs to the entire structure including removals and reinstatement to soffits, walls, abutments, beams, bridge deck, sidewalks and curbs. Bird netting was also installed. Beech Street bridge deck structure work included; removal of asphalt to expose the concrete deck for inspection, structural repairs to concrete deck including reinstatement of the concrete shelf below the expansion joints and complete expansion joint replacement.

The contracted work includes, but not limited to; minor deck, soffit and fascia concrete removals & reinstatement, deck joint assembly modification to the end wall & expansion joint to accommodate a new drain system, joint seal cleaning & clamping bar replacement, MSE wall replacement (3), routing and sealing, barrier wall repairs and asphalt repairs .
Awarded to National Capital Contracting Incorporated (NCCI) in August 2018 to facilitate and complete the exterior construction of a 21 meter, 3 tier structural pedestrian ramp, exterior concrete repairs to the transit platform, 2 level stair/platform replacement, storm/sanitary sewer installation, expansion joint replacement, steel curb/stamped concrete and traffic topping in the station and ramp. The original scope of work for the project was for the construction of a new pedestrian ramp to facilitate minor concrete repairs, sanitary sewer "repair", tunnel/bridge joint replacement and new traffic topping in the entire station/pedestrian ramp. Once the contracted work commenced, it was determined that the existing sewer services (cast pipe) had deteriorated and in some instances, disintegrated and had failed. The scope of the additional work to the contract included, but not limited to; new 87 m of sanitary/storm services in the station and electrical modifications and general station renewal.
National Capital Contracting Incorporated (NCCI) was contracted to provide full Project Management, Contract Management, and construction work for the completion of the entire project. Due to the facility being occupied daily by over 200 employees as well as over 100 buses and service vehicles during peak hours at the time of construction, the work schedule was coordinated with the client building supervisor to have a minimal impact on daily operations. A comprehensive dust protective enclosure was constructed around the entire work area as well as covering for the work zone ventilation system was required.

At present, Mackenzie Kink Bridge (MKB) is a major arterial throughway into and out of the downtown core with over 41,600 +/_ pedestrians and 4,230 +/_buses passing on the bridge daily. The Rideau Center, DND, NAC, NCC, PWGSC, OC Transpo and the City of Ottawa all have had an interest and say in the bridge work that was completed. The MKB spans 489 m from Elgin St. to Nicholas St. and is an overpass to Nicholas St., Queen Elizabeth, Colonal By, Laurence Freeman Drives (LFD), Rideau Canal waterway/pathways and the NAC garages, offices and mechanical rooms.
